Overview

This project showcases a motion design animation using my bear logo. It was created to be used as an intro for videos and personal branding.

Problem

I struggle with mostly animating each layer and figuring out how I can animate them. There was so many to the point it would take a long time to animate all of them. Time was also a component to my struggles because of how busy I was during my last semester of my program.

Goals

• Create a smooth and cool animation using my logo
• Keep it simple and short for YouTube intros
• Highlight motion principles like anticipation and scatter

Process

I started by looking at explosive animations and geometry effects to have inspiration for what I want to do.

Solution

The final animation is a 3-second burst where the bear logo scatters into view and settles with a soft bounce. It fits perfectly as a branded intro.

Outcome

I was pretty satisfied with the animation. During the vernissage 2025, many people enjoyed the logo and the animation with it.
